I went through an extended acoustic period where I only played classical guitar, flute and I was in the process of learning (and failing to master) the cello. I wrote a cycle of songs all on the same theme and thought it would be an interesting experiment to play only acoustic instruments. And to play them live. It took me numerous takes to even reach the result presented here. But I did stick to the challenge I had given myself. The vocals were different. I am not a singer but for this recording and for Savage Sky I was filled with horror when I thought that I might have to use a vocalist. I persevered and was able to sing (mostly in tune) for small parts of songs. I would record those and then move on to the next part of the song. I promise that you will not have to endure hearing me sing again.
